Hello, and welcome to my blog! My goal with this site is to document some of my projects (cooking, quilting, kid stuff) and to connect with other parents and crafty folks. I am an avid quilter (and fabric...collector...), reader, cook and mom to two small boys.
We live in Seattle, and have a great hill of trees in our backyard. As such, there are always many chickadees and other birds in our yard. My kids love emulating the song of the chickadee (chick.a.dee.dee.dee), and I've taken to calling my youngest little chickadee. He calls me big chickadee. It's almost too cute to tolerate. And the muddy knees comes from, well, living in rainy Seattle and herding small boys through the wet outdoors!
